Honey Spice Cookies



These Honey Spice Cookies are a delectable combination of honey and warm spices, ideal for a warm winter treat.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts e

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350F 175C

In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and honey until smooth

Beat in the egg until well combined

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt

Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms

Stir in the chopped nuts

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown around the edges

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
